A downloadable game

This project is the artifact of my master's thesis:  Customizable Magic System in Dungeon Crawler

I've always loved customization in games, as well as spells. I decided to make my thesis about exactly that. By having a crafting system for the spells, the player can create whatever spell they desire as long as they have ingredients. I also wanted to make it a fun experience to explore what each material does.

If you happen to play the game, please take the time to fill in my questionnaire so that I can include it in my thesis. This is of course completely optional and you are under no obligation to do so: https://angliaruskin.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/customizable-magic-system-wizard-shenanigans-feedback

As a prototype it's legit, crafting system and learning on fly is pretty good combo, I wish to see it in a full game. But as game it in need of polishing. First - fight system need to be revamped (to easiest to hardest: unequal mobs' speed, mobs that move faster than player to limit crowd control opportunity, different attacks and abilities as dash, jump, projectile, area buff and debuff effects, enhancing AI to surround rather than piling up, changing pace of combat and not letting player to get bored), QoL features like better tools to operate inventory, feedback on actions, interface improvement (it's hard to say if player can interact with things or not), info about crafted staff like basic effect and ingredients used, more softcode on tutorial as it can be easily broken, SFX. That's a big pile of critiques, but don't get me wrong - I enjoyed experience and in another way around I woldn't be bothered to write all of this. Game has potential. Good luck!
